ANDREAS GARFIELD

Andreas Garfield (1976) has a playwright’s degree from Aarhus Theatre. His critically acclaimed play, HJEM KÆRE HJEM, was nominated for three Reumert awards in 2007; he took home the talent award the very same year

Apart from this, Andreas has also written the script for the short film, BOBBY, which won a Robert for Short Film of the Year in 2010. Most recently Andreas has adapted EKSIL, the first novel in Jakob Ejersbo’s Africa trilogy, for the theatre. Andreas is currently working with director May el-Toukhy on her upcoming film, CAIRO, at Film Maker.
